Creativity Future Organization

Creativity Future Organization (CFO) is a Sudanese humanitarian and development organization that delivers integrated, community-led support in conflict and displacement settings, with a strong focus on underserved communities including in Darfur.

CFO works to protect lives, restore learning and livelihoods, and strengthen social cohesion through practical innovation — such as solar-powered digital learning hubs and satellite connectivity — alongside locally owned systems that prioritize safety, inclusion, and accountability. Across sectors, CFO promotes peaceful coexistence by supporting conflict resolution and non-discrimination to help prevent hate speech, stigma, and exclusion.

Our Vision

Resilient, peaceful communities where women and youth are empowered leaders, disputes are addressed through inclusive dialogue and conflict resolution, and people reject hate speech, discrimination, and exclusion.

Our Mission

As a youth-led organization led by a young woman, CFO's mission is to empower women, girls, and youth — including displaced people and war-affected university students — through integrated education, protection, WASH, livelihoods, and nutrition services, while advancing peacebuilding, mediation, reconciliation, tolerance, coexistence, and non-discrimination.

Our Program Strengths

Community Ownership

Communities identify priorities, co-design solutions, and monitor results alongside our teams.

Conflict-Sensitive & Gender-Responsive Design

Programs are designed with attention to context, safety, and the specific needs of women and girls.

Safeguarding & PSEA

Robust safeguarding and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse commitments across all programs.

Technology That Keeps Services Running

Solar-powered digital classrooms and satellite connectivity where infrastructure is disrupted.

Partnership & Collaboration

We work with universities, technical institutions, private-sector actors, and community committees.

Theory of Change

When conflict-affected communities — including in Darfur — have sustained access to safe and inclusive education, strengthened livelihoods, and responsive protection and basic services, they are better able to recover from crisis and reduce negative coping strategies.

Community dialogue session

When these services are delivered through community-led systems that empower women, girls, and youth as leaders and decision-makers, and when communities are supported to address grievances through inclusive dialogue, mediation, and other conflict-resolution pathways, social cohesion and trust increase. By actively promoting tolerance and non-discrimination and working with communities to prevent and respond to hate speech and exclusion, CFO helps create safer environments for collaboration and collective action. Together, these investments contribute to improved well-being, localized stability, and durable recovery.

Where We Work

CFO works in Sudan and displacement settings, with a focus on remote and conflict-affected areas where conventional services are disrupted, including Darfur. Delivery modalities are adapted to context to support safe access, community acceptance, and continuity of assistance.

Our Implementation Approach

CFO applies a community-led approach so affected people identify priorities, co-design solutions, and monitor results — partnering with universities, technical institutions, private-sector actors, and community committees.
